Arriving with a very great caravan— with camels carrying spices, large quantities of gold, and precious stones— she came to Solomon and talked with him about all she had on her mind. Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for him to explain to her. When the queen of Sheba saw the wisdom of Solomon, as well as the palace he had built, the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, the cupbearers in their robes and the burnt offerings he made at the temple of the Lord, she was overwhelmed. She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true. But I did not believe what they said until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half the greatness of your wisdom was told me; you have far exceeded the report I heard. How happy your people must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! Praise be to the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on his throne as king to rule for the Lord your God. Because of the love of your God for Israel and his desire to uphold them forever, he has made you king over them, to maintain justice and righteousness.” Then she gave the king 120 talents of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones. There had never been such spices as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon. 2Chronicles 9:1-9 (under construction) ------------------------------------------------- Biblical Passages relating directly to the Jewish Homeland, the Acquisition and Protection of All Biblical Lands; bringing us now to the fullness of the Kingdom of God Psalm 110:1-7 Psalm 2:6-9 Psalm 48:2 Psalm 50:2-3 Psalm 84:7 Psalm 89:19-29 Psalm 149:2 Isaiah 9:1-3 Isaiah 26:15 Isaiah 2:2-3 Isaiah 2:4 Isaiah 8:9 Isaiah 11:10 Jeremiah 10:25 Jeremiah 12:17 Jeremiah 23:5 Jeremiah 25:15-16 Jeremiah 25:27-33 Jeremiah 33:9 Jeremiah 31:6-7 Jeremiah 46:10 Jeremiah 50:4-5 Ezekiel 34:13-14 Ezekiel 37:12-14 Ezekiel 37:24-28 Daniel 2:44 Daniel 7:13-14 Daniel 7:18 Daniel 7:27 Daniel 12:1 Daniel 12:3 Zechariah 2:10-11 Zechariah 8:3 Zechariah 8:22 Zechariah 14:9 Revelation 11:15 Revelation 11:18 Revelation 12:5 Revelation 12:10 Revelation 14:1 Revelation 15:4 Revelation 17:14 Revelation 19:15-16 |
